The CNU jazz program presented their annual Jazz4Justice event on March 29th, 2018, in partnership with Newport News Bar Association, Peninsula Bar Association and the Greater Peninsula Women’s Bar Association featuring the CNU Jazz Ensemble. The students played many of their own compositions, including an original piece for Jazz Ensemble + Sitar. The band sounded great, and a good time was had by all! Proceeds benefited the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia and Christopher Newport University’s Jazz Program.
