Jazz4Justice in Newport News is presented by Christopher Newport University in partnership with the Newport News Bar Association, the Peninsula Bar Association, and the Greater Peninsula Women's Bar Association to benefit the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia and the CNU Jazz Studies program. Although the 2020 concert was cancelled last minute due to COVID, fundraising had already taken place, and both CNU and the LASEV received significant donations in 2020. Please support the sponsors! The concert for 2021 will be cancelled but the stakeholders plan to bring back Jazz4Justice again in 2022.
