The UVA Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of John D’earth, is partnering with Jazz4Justice, Central Virginia Legal Aid Society, and the Legal Aid Justice Center to bring the Second Annual Jazz4Justice Concert to UVA. Jazz4Justice, founded in 2001, collaborates with university music programs and the local legal community to raise funds for Legal Aid and music scholarships. Since 2001, more than 47 annual Jazz4Justice concerts have been held on 9 Virginia college campuses and have raised more than $400,000.
The Jazz4Justice Concert at UVA will benefit the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society, the Legal Aid Justice Center, and the UVA Jazz Program. The concert will take place in the beautiful Old Cabell Hall Auditorium at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10 General Admission. Old Cabell Hall is located on the UVA campus, building number 31 on this map.
